We are pleased this Oak tree has been recently protected with a TPO as it adds character to this area of Sedgmoor Road. Unfortunately, it was very poorly ‘pruned’ last year and is now somewhat uneven hence we have no objection to this work if the Tree Officer is satisfied the work proposed would benefit the tree’s appearance and it is carried out by an approved contract.

Angelica Hammersley Lane High Wycombe Bucks HP10 8HG Demolition of existing dwelling and erection of 3 x 5 bed detached dwellings with garages and alterations to form a new access We are concerned that this could be seen as an overdevelopment of the site. A full traffic management plan should be part of the conditions if this development were to be approved in order not to create more of a problem with traffic flow along an already busy Hammersley Lane. Construction traffic would also need to be managed.

Fernlea Gardens Straight Bit Flackwell Heath Bucks Reduce laterals by 1m (2m on N side) and reduce height to 4m to form a smaller bush that can be managed with regular hedge trimming to 1 x Yew tree (T1) This Yew tree has grown considerably and is now encroaching upon the space the Oak tree in front of it needs under its canopy. Hence we would have no objection to this proposal if the Tree Officer is satisfied the proposed work is appropriate and it is carried out by an approved contractor.
