Open Spaces Committee (OS)
This committee is responsible for the amenity areas, commons, village greens, open spaces, ponds, rivers and woodlands, including those rented and leased by the Council, including their maintenance which includes grass cutting, fencing, boundary walls, gates and buildings. Also the Council’s leisure areas: allotments, recreation grounds, sports grounds, tennis grounds, football pitches, cricket pitches, basketball courts, tennis courts, bowling greens, youth shelters, pavilions and play equipment Terms of Reference for this new committee are currently under review .Click here for Tree Maintenance Policy.
