Report of the meeting held on Tuesday 12 February 2019 commencing at 7.15pm
in the Council Chamber, Cock Lane, Tylers Green, High Wycombe, Bucks HP10 8DS

WS/18/065 Apologies for absence
Apologies were received and approved from Cllr Dodds, Cllr Herschel and Cllr Johnsons (Holidays)
WS/18/066 Declarations of members’ interests in Items on the agenda
There were none.
WS/18/067 Committee Projects
2 Altona Road Cemetery – Path
Members were asked to consider the suggestion to improve the surface of the path to the original part of the cemetery to match the new extension path.
It was RESOLVED that;
It was important that both paths in the cemetery matched and that this would be a project for the next financial year.
3 Office/Council Chamber Lighting
Members were asked to consider one of the two quotes received for the above project.
Following information provided by the Clerk advising that the chairman of committee was of the opinion that a renewed grid would be the best way forward.
It was RESOLVED that;
the final decision for approval be delegated to the chairman of committee and clerk.
WS/18/068 Local Area Forum
Members were asked to consider the parish council contribution for the financial year 2019/20 for the bollard installation at Wheeler Avenue/Church Road junction. The revised estimate for the 8 bollards, installation and contingency is £6,798 making the parish council contribution in the region of £3,400.00.
It was RESOLVED that;
The matched funding for the project in the sum of £3,400.00 be approved.
WS/18/069 Cock Lane – cremation plots
Members were asked to consider further draft layouts showing the potential number of plots on the lower section of the cemetery.
It was RESOLVED that;
The plots showing a flower border between each row be recommended to the working party.
WS/18/070 Committee Budget 2019/20
Members were asked to consider the committee budget.
Cllr Wilkes raised the improvement of the hearing loop in the council chamber as a possible
project for inclusion.
It was RESOLVED that;
the committee budget be taken to full Council for approval.
WS/18/071 Questions from committee members and the public
There were none.
All the TO NOTE items from the agenda for the meeting of 31 January 2019 have been deferred but will be reported at the next meeting.
The chairman thanked members for their attendance and closed the meeting at 7.38pm
