CHEPPING WYCOMBE PARISH COUNCIL
Members of the council are summoned to attend a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on Thursday,
30 May 2019 at 7.00pm at the Council Office, Cock Lane, Tylers Green, High Wycombe, Bucks HP10 8DS.
The meeting is open to members of the public and press.

Co-Option to the Council
Flackwell Heath Membership
A casual vacancy for a Flackwell Heath arose in April 2019 following the death of Cllr Carolyn Leonard.
Written notification was provided to the District Council’s Electoral Services division under the
provisions of the Local Government Act 1972 s 84. The by-election possibility period of 14 days
following the date of notification expired without any names put forward to the Council for
candidates for the vacant post. This District Council confirmed that the Parish Council may now fill
the post by way of co-option.
Nominations are invited at the meeting.
The successful candidate will be duly appointed once he/she signs the Declaration of Acceptance of
Office to agree to abide by the Parish Council’s Code of Conduct. New members of the council will
also be required to sign a Declaration of Interest statement.
4. Bus Shelters – Kingsmead Road & Station Road
Council is asked to APPROVE an increase to the original quotation approved at the Works & Services
committee on 21 March. The reason for the increase in cost is as follows;
change to individual seats including handles
change to solid rooftops
a new concrete base in Station road
preparation for electronic bus information
The difference in the quotation is £2,757.50 making the new total £19,315.00
Confidential items – exclusion of public and press
In view of the confidential nature of the business to be considered it is RECOMMENDED that the committee
resolve to exclude the public and press from the remainder of the meeting as permitted under the Public
Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960.

Salaries 2019
Discussion led by the chairman of the Finance & General Purposes committee prior to consideration
by the Council. This follows a meeting of the Staff Committee (Chairman, Vice Chairman and
