Proposed two storey side extension and single storey rear extension

CWPC strongly objects to this application for the reasons stated below:

·    The development would be overbearing, on the grounds of mass and appearance.

·    It would be over-development of the site, and out of keeping with the surrounding estate.

·    The loss of parking provision with removal of the garage, potentially impacting neighbours and other road users.

CWPC strongly objects to this application for the reasons stated below:

·    The development is inappropriate and out of keeping with the street scene.

·    The property would be overbearing.

·    The development would impact neighbouring properties, particularly no. 7.

  1. Questions from members

Cllr Johncock highlighted that an appeal had been successful for 24/07009/FUL; permission has been granted for The Happy Union to be developed into a 16-bed house of multiple occupation.  Cllr Gurney re-iterated the concerns of the council regarding a lack of parking provision.

Cllr Johncock, in response to the Town and Parish Council Planning Surgery survey received from Buckinghamshire Council, asked whether members felt engaged by the Planning & Environment Service.  The consensus was that they did not.  Cllr Darch suggested that a named planning liaison contact would be very useful.

The chairman thanked those present and closed the meeting at 12.19pm

Date & time of next meeting: Tuesday 9 December 2025 @ 12pm, on Teams
