Committee Projects
5.1 Bus Shelter – Kingsmead Road, Loudwater
Members are asked to NOTE that a meeting with Paul Goodwin from BCC Passenger Transport is being arranged on site to discuss the position and requirements of a new bus stop.
5.2 Altona Road Cemetery – Extension Path
Members are asked to CONSIDER and, if so minded, APPROVE one of the quotations received for the replacement of the surfacing to the extension path at Altona Road cemetery. The quotes include the removal of the existing shingle and the laying of a self-binding gravel to create a firm surface.

5.3 Cock Lane Cemetery – Standpipe Extension
Members are asked to CONSIDER and, if so minded, APPROVE one of the quotations received for the standpipe extension.
As suggested at the site visit the quotes are for one extra standpipe at the extension entrance and then a further run to the end of the extension being capped off until required.

5.4 Cock Lane Picnic Area – Path to Council Offices
Members are asked to CONSIDER and, if so minded, APPROVE one of the quotations received for the creation of a path through the picnic area to the Council Offices. The suggested route for the path can be seen at APPENDIX A. The quotes include matching the surface of the existing path and making a ramp to access the car park to the front of the Council Offices.

5.5 Disabled Access to Bench – Queensmead Road
Members are asked to CONSIDER and, if so minded, APPROVE one of the quotations received for the creation of a pathway for disabled access to the bench at the above site.

Boundary Stone – Wycombe Heights Golf Club
Members are asked to NOTE that the interpretation board for the boundary stone has now been finalised and order at a cost of £900.00 which is less that the originally approve figure of £1,500.

LED Footway Lighting
Members are asked to NOTE that the next phase of the project will be to set up a maintenance contract for the new lights. One quote has been received to date but it is necessary to obtain a further two.

Purchase of a CAT Scanner
Members are asked to CONSIDER the purchase of a CAT scanner. The one that was on long term loan from Transport for Bucks has had to be returned.

Trailer
Members are asked to NOTE that the trailer for transporting the mowers has been delivered and been taken out on its first trip with great success.
AGENDA ITEM 10
Local Area Forum
Members are asked to NOTE that an application was submitted prior to the deadline date of 31 August for bollards to the entrance of Wheeler Avenue, Tylers Green.
Members are asked to NOTE an update on the yellow lines received from Cllr Willis who attending the Chepping Wye Valley LAF meeting on 19 September. Cllr Willis had been originally advised that the lines would be started in mid-August, however this has now slipped and they will now be started in mid-October. The work was approved in August and then ordered and now letters are again being sent out to residents to advise of when and where the yellow lines will be painted.

Members are asked to NOTE the work undertaken by the Community Payback teams since the last committee meeting in May. APPENDIX B

Revive the Wye – Back Stream
Members are asked to RECEIVE an update from Cllr Dodds and Cllr White following a meeting with the Revive the Wye team in relation to the clearance of the Back Stream.

Altona Road Cemetery
Members are asked to NOTE that following the report of vandalism to a child’s grave at the above cemetery – no further reports have been received.
AGENDA ITEM 14
Cock Lane – cremation plots
Following the committee site visit in July when an informal discussion was held relating to the next area to be used for cremation plots. It was generally felt that the lower section would be opened.
Members are asked to CONSIDER, as an option, the layout at APPENDIX C, used in the Garden of Rest at Four Ashes.
Members are asked to APPROVE the next course of action.

BCC Household Recycling Centres – Public Consultation
Members are asked to NOTE the consultation at www.buckscc.gov.uk/hrc-review and are reminded that the closing date is Monday 22 October.
