The hip-to-gable roof extension will create an unbalanced look and will have a negative impact on the street scene. The neighbouring properties are mainly semi-detached with pitched roofs and this will set a bad precedent. We also question whether the second-floor extension to the rear with the Juliette balcony will cause overlooking of the chalet bungalows in Home Meadow Drive.
