- Questions from members
Cllr Johncock highlighted the current situation at ‘Hancocks Yard’, Chapel Road, Flackwell Heath. The owner has sold the site to a company who now wish to relocate their building supply business to the site.
Buckinghamshire Council have served the new owner with a Stop Notice as the site is on Green Belt and considerable areas have been concreted over. Cllr Townsend and Cllr Johncock are meeting with concerned local residents on 30 June.
Cllr Darch advised of the appeal and cost refusal for the application for two properties on the land adjacent to Hilltop on Hammersley Lane, Tylers Green.
Cllr Thomas advised of a phone call to the office relating to Treadaway Court. The couple who had bought a flat in the development for their daughter were concerned that no-one in the flats knew that the application to add a further storey on the building had been approved as the last they had heard the application had been refused. They had been in contact with Buckinghamshire Council who told them that they had no paperwork/knowledge of any planning and advised that it was sitting with Chepping Wycombe Parish Council. The clerk had passed the email address of the Case Officer at Buckinghamshire Council and advised that Buckinghamshire Council were the planning authority, and the parish council was only a consultee.
Cllr Guy apologised for his late attendance.
The chairman closed the meeting at 12.15pm and thanked members for their attendance.
