AGENDA ITEM 3
Delegated Actions
Members are asked to NOTE that since the last committee meeting in September the following delegated actions have been taken by the chairman of the committee and clerk;
Emergency tree works in King’s Wood in the sum of £850.00
Emergency tree works in Magpie Wood and King’s Wood rear of Rushbrooke Close in the sum of £1,080.00
AGENDA ITEM 4
Allotments
Members are asked to NOTE that at the time of agenda writing the following vacancies exist at the allotment sites:
Chapel Road – 2 half plots and 7 full plots
Ashley Drive – 2 full plots
There is no one currently on the waiting list.
4.1 Ashley Drive Allotments
Members are asked to CONSIDER and, if so minded, APPROVE on of the two quotations received for the replacement shed at the above site;
Quote A £5,250.00.
Quote B £6,500.00

Magpie Wood
Members are asked to NOTE that rubbish clearance work has been undertaken by Community Payback, Cllr Jordan advised that he was extremely pleased with their enthusiasm and progress.
Members are also asked to NOTE that a site visit to the wood will be organised to assess the boundary fencing.
AGENDA ITEM 6
King’s Wood
6.1 Ride widening on northern boundary
Members are asked to NOTE that the above approved works have been delayed due to the chosen contractor pulling out. Our Forestry Manager is currently searching for an alternative contractor to undertake the work.
Members are asked to NOTE that confirmation has been received from Wycombe District Council that historic CiL monies had been allocated towards this project in the sum of £8,205.75.
AGENDA ITEM 7
Tylers Green Common
7.1 Track Policy
Members are asked to CONSIDER and, if so minded, APPROVE the draft Track Policy with the minor amendments suggested at the committee meeting in May. APPENDIX A
7.2 Track 6
Members are asked to NOTE that the approved works to the above track have been ordered. Due to the time of year and weather constraints the drainage channel will be undertaken as a priority, leaving the laying of the surfacing to the judgement of the contractor.
7.3 Tracks 4, 5 and 2
Members are asked to CONSIDER and, if so minded, APPROVE improvement works as requested by residents to Tracks 4 and 2. APPENDIX B has been supplied for clarity.
Track 4 (pink) residents have requested an improvement to the surface and a drainage solution.
Members are asked to CONSIDER whether to wait for the completion of the work on Track 6 prior to rolling out improvement works to other tracks, undertaking temporary pothole filling where necessary.
Track 5 (yellow) residents have requested that no further action be taken on the surface, however the trees overhanging the track need attention.
Members are asked to NOTE that planning permission has been gained for the tree works, however they are not owned by the parish council and any work needs to be with permission from the resident at Fir Tree Cottage. A meeting to discuss and arrange the tree works is to be held in the latter part of November.
Track 2 (green) has a shingle surface which is constantly rutted by car movements in and out of drives. This short track was regraded and the potholes filled last year, however the surface has once again rutted and potholes have re-appeared.
AGENDA ITEM 8
Playground Updates
Members are asked to RECEIVE updates from the Playground Working Parties.
8.1 RoSPA Play Inspection Reports
Members are asked to NOTE the Safety Inspection Reports. The reports have been passed to the Warden who will be working through the Inspector’s findings on each site. Members are asked to NOTE that the Findings Information has been provided due to the size of the reports. APPENDIX C
8.2 Green Dragon Recreation Ground
Members are asked to NOTE that two designs for the above site have been received to date. A third company
Is still to provide a design.
AGENDA ITEM 9
Derehams Lane Recreation Ground
9.1 Trial Holes
Members are asked to NOTE that the trial holes were dug on Monday 22 October. The feedback received at APPENDIX D clearly shows that the existing entrance cannot be lowered.
Members are asked to NOTE that a site visit will be arranged to assess the feasibility of moving the entrance higher up the lane thus making entry onto the site easier.
AGENDA ITEM 10
Orchard Green Hedge
Members are asked to NOTE the report and recommendations from the Working Party meeting held on 28 September on site. APPENDIX E
In light of the report and recommendations, members are asked to CONSIDER and, if so minded, APPROVE one of the contractor quotes for clearing and preparing the ground and either Option 1 or 2 for the replanting of the hedge. APPENDIX F
AGENDA ITEM 11
Budget 2019/20 – projects for inclusion
Members are asked to CONSIDER for inclusion in next year’s budget the following;
• Path from Track 6 to New Road canopy opening – £5/6k
Rejuvenate the surface of the path with self- binding gravel – £4/5k
• Allotment site – increase budget to allow for rubbish removal – £4k
• Set up Ash Die Back EMR -we have been advised that all our ash trees need to be assessed and taken down before they die – £10k
• Work on footpath and fence running along Scout Hut F/H – £3.5k
• Orchard Green hedge – next section £5k
• Derehams Re-development project – increase EMR £10k/year
• Magpie Wood boundary fencing – unknown as yet
Members are encouraged to bring forward ideas.

Questions from committee members and the public
