Cllr Johncock raised the issue of the forthcoming closure of Hammersley Lane, 1-12 June and the impact it will have on the local residents and surrounding infrastructure.
The Deputy Clerk confirmed that the Clerk had already been in contact with our contact at Rayners and the Road Closures team at Buckinghamshire Council, but no amendments to the current plan could be made.
Cllr Johncock asked that the Clerk make contact with our Buckinghamshire Councillors asking for them to reach out to Highways requesting details on how the access for Hammersley Lane residents will operate.
Cllr Darch asked whether such access would include, for example, those with horses in stables on Hammersley Lane.
Cllr Thomas highlighted that there are also planned roadworks on the A40 between Loudwater and Beaconsfield scheduled to start 4 June, further impacting the local road network.
Cllr Townsend stated she would raise the issue with the LAT, in advance of her planned meeting on 27 May, to also request confirmation on the traffic will be managed.
The chairman thanked those present and closed the meeting at 11.13am
