Election of Chairman of Committee
Members are asked to ELECT a Committee Chairman to serve until the new council year.
Members are asked to CONSIDER the following suggestions put forward for the position of Chairman: Cllr Chris Dodds

The procedurefor electing the chairman and vice chairman of the committee will be by secret ballot,
suspending Standing Orders, as resolved at the last full council meeting held on 13 March 2018

Delegated Action
Members are asked to NOTE that internal plastering was undertaken to the warden’s house. The works included re-plastering the stairwell wall that had crazed and replacing part of the landing ceiling that was badly stained and bowing at a cost of £1,035.

Boundary Stone Update
Members are asked to NOTE that the order has been placed for the interpretation board, currently
awaiting a delivery date.

Restoring the Record
Members are asked to RECEIVE an update from Cllr White and a date for the next meeting of the project
representatives.

AGENDA ITEM 8
Cock Lane Cemetery
8.1 Use of the path
Members are asked to NOTE that the office has received a complaint again about the use of the path by pupils from Sir William Ramsey School. The pupils have been abusive when challenged and items on the plots have been scattered around the cemetery.
Members are asked to NOTE that the Clerk has been in contact with the school to report the issue and the
Warden has in the past gone down to the cemetery on odd days to redirect the pupils.

Members are asked to CONSIDER if there are any mitigating actions that could be instigated to discourage
this distressing behaviour

8.2 Cremation Plots
Members are asked to NOTE that the small area just inside the gate, set aside for cremation plots, is nearly
full. Members are asked to CONSIDER where future cremation plots should be sited. APPENDIX A

Footway Lighting Update
9.1 New energy supply charges
Members are asked to NOTE that the new monthly charges for the footway lighting will be £ 395.00 as
opposed to the £1,800 per month for the old lighting.

Members are asked to NOTE that the signs in poor condition that had been highlighted to Wycombe
District Council have been replaced as follows;

– Georges Drive leading to Tower Close

– Hammersley Lane off London Road
– Highfield Road junction with Carrington Avenue
